Terms of service

These terms govern your use of LedgerWatch. By creating an account, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

Subscription and billing

LedgerWatch costs $19 AUD per month for each Xero organisation you connect and subscribe. Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis through Stripe, and renew automatically until cancelled.

Free trial

Each newly connected Xero organisation starts a 14-day free trial. No card is required to start a trial. If you choose to subscribe, monitoring and alerts continue uninterrupted; if you don't, monitoring stops at the end of the trial.

Cancellation

You can cancel a subscription at any time from the billing portal inside LedgerWatch. Cancelling stops future billing; access continues until the end of the billing period you've already paid for. We don't offer refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by law.

The service is a monitoring aid, not a guarantee

LedgerWatch is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. LedgerWatch is a monitoring aid that detects and reports changes to bank details recorded against contacts in your connected Xero organisation. It is not a guarantee against fraud, and it does not authorise, approve, block, or process any payment. You remain solely responsible for independently verifying a supplier's payment details — for example, by phone, using a number you already have on file — before making any payment, regardless of what LedgerWatch reports.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LedgerWatch and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the service, including any loss resulting from a payment made to incorrect bank details. Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes any consumer guarantee or right that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
