Cancelling, disconnecting, and deleting
Cancelling a subscription
Use "Manage billing" from the Account page. This opens Stripe's own billing portal, where you can cancel. Stripe handles your payment details directly. LedgerWatch never sees or stores your card number.
Disconnecting an organisation
From an organisation's page, choose "Disconnect." If you're the only person connected to that organisation, this permanently deletes everything specific to it, including the connection itself, every recorded snapshot and alert, its alert settings, and any duplicate-account finding. This can't be undone.
If someone else at your practice or business is also connected to the same organisation, disconnecting only removes your own access. Their connection and the organisation's data are untouched.
Deleting your account
From the Account page, choose "Delete account." This deletes your login entirely, along with every organisation you're the only remaining connection for, and everything specific to those organisations, as above. Organisations shared with someone else are just unlinked from you, not deleted; their data and the other person's access are unaffected. Any outstanding password reset or verification link on your account is also invalidated. This can't be undone.
A note on billing
Deleting an account, or disconnecting an organisation's only remaining connection, cancels any active subscription for it first, so you won't keep being billed for something that's just been removed.
